Wings Over Wairarapa DVD Now Available
22 April 2009

Some of you have been asking whether we're going to release a DVD from
January's successful Wings Over Wairarapa '09 airshow?

This year we didn't go down the path of producing an Official DVD of the show, however the guys from the Historical Aviation Film Unit (HAFU, part of our Official Photography team) have put together a highlights DVD for our future promotional use.

We think this disk is fantastic, and the team at HAFU have decided to make
this disk more widely available for anyone interested in the video footage.

This 75+ minute, widescreen format DVD, is not a full (i.e. narrated) event
souvenir or documentary, but rather a highlights package only.

The disk features all the clips previously released via YouTube, but also
includes a number of other segments not available elsewhere, including
a nice short clip of the Sopwith Triplane during the practice day, some of the RNZAF displays, photographic slideshows, and a segment featuring the Fokker D.VII and Pfalz D.III.

You can now order the DVD for $17.50 (including shipping within New Zealand) from the HAFU web site at:
